This is to remind you of our annual meeting between Early Start staff and school preschool staff regarding the transition from services under “Part C” of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to services under “Part B.”  It is important that we meet regularly to discuss this process.  There are strict legal requirements that we work together to facilitate this transition within the timelines.

The meeting is scheduled for April 29, 2019 from 1:30 pm– 3:30 pm, in the Ventura County Office of Education Conference Center, 5100 Adolfo Road, Camarillo, Salon C.

This meeting is mandatory for all Early Start Service Coordinators.  Every school district in the SELPA operating elementary school programs must also be represented.  School people, I will watch the registrations to make sure each district is represented.
