During the 2021-2022 school year, the Ventura County SELPA will be offering a variety of trainings via a virtual platform and/or in-person based on feedback provided from our districts, families and community members, and of course, CDPH and VCPH Guidelines. Over the past year, we have learned a tremendous amount about virtual trainings and the benefits, but also understand the value of in-person workshops. For in person trainings, at this time, masks are not required in the VCOE CESC for the fully vaccinated individuals, however, you are welcome to wear a mask if you are more comfortable. If you are not fully vaccinated, please plan to wear a face mask. Please call or email if you have questions.
If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (805) 437-1560.
The Ventura County SELPA's Professional Development Calendar for the 2021-2022 school year was developed in coordination and through recommendations from several stakeholder groups. We strive to provide a wide range of high-quality workshops to support the whole child and the best practices in Special Education. Many of our workshops are aligned with California's accountability system in mind, to ensure support and resources for our students, families and districts within our SELPA and beyond. Positive student outcomes, student engagement, and best practices for student learning for ALL students are our highest priorities.
