This workshop is the short version of the previous 5-hour training entitled, “An Introduction to Interpreting Challenging Behaviors in Students with Developmental Disabilities.”

Outcomes: Participants will:

1. Explain the role of development when designing supports for students.

2. Describe and select strategies that match the student’s developmental level, which may be used to prevent and intervene with challenging behavior.
